Bio:
Born on an asteroid field far from most civilized space, Alena lived in a free-floating co-op for most of her life. They drifted from asteroid to asteroid, mining valuable minerals, processing them, and selling them. At a very young age, the people of this colony started mastering the crafts, and Alena was no exception.
However, Imperial intervention changed all that. Decending like a swarm of locusts, they took the entire most recent harvest of Larium and Iridium, as a payment for tax evasion, and then brought them under control...Economic control.
In what must have been the most difficult decision ever, the parents of the compound scratched together enough credits to send their children off to another place, where they could, hopefully, find a better and new life. Alena was one of the oldest on that . . .
She departed Quixotic Imports/Exports on good terms to pursue greater opportunities with Rising Star Explorations, and is one of the many reasons the two PAs enjoy such a close working relationship today.
